EXCEL to PDF

Sharing an Excel file when the goal is for someone to read the numbers is the wrong tool for the job. Recipients can accidentally change cells, see hidden tabs, or open it in a version of Excel that renders it differently. PDF locks the data in place so the reader sees exactly what you intended.

Before converting, set a print area in Excel to define which cells appear in the output. Without this, the converter may include extra blank columns or hidden tabs. Choose landscape orientation for wide financial tables, portrait for simple lists or invoices.

After converting, check that totals, column headers, and critical figures are visible and correctly positioned. A two-minute review catches display issues before the file reaches a client or colleague.
