Privacy Policy

RashPDF offers free online PDF tools. We collect as little data as possible. • Browser-based tools (most tools): When you merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, sign, protect, crop, or edit PDFs in your browser, your files are processed on your device. RashPDF does not receive, read, or permanently store those document contents on our servers. • Server-based tools (only when you use them): Some features need our servers to work, including Office ↔ PDF conversion (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), OCR PDF, Repair PDF, PDF/A conversion, and similar backend conversions. For those tools only, your file is uploaded over HTTPS, processed to complete your request, and then removed from active processing as soon as practical. We do not use your files to train AI models or build marketing profiles. • Optional share links: If you choose Share or Copy link after creating a PDF, you may upload that PDF so we can host a temporary download link. The file is stored for up to 24 hours, then automatically deleted. Anyone with the link can download the file until it expires. • Contact form: If you email us through the contact page, we receive the name, email, subject, and message you send. • Technical & usage data: Like most websites, we may collect limited technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate region, pages visited, and error logs. This helps us keep RashPDF secure and reliable.

Share links are optional. They are not created unless you tap Share or Copy link on a finished PDF. When you create a share link, your PDF is uploaded once, assigned a unique URL, and stored on our server for a maximum of 24 hours (or until deleted by our cleanup process). After expiry, the file and link stop working and are removed. Do not use share links for highly confidential documents unless you accept that anyone with the URL may download the file while it is active. For maximum privacy, download the file directly to your device instead of creating a link.

We use information only to: • Operate and improve RashPDF tools and the website • Process server-based conversions and optional share links you request • Respond to support messages you send us • Measure traffic and fix bugs (aggregated where possible) • Show advertising through Google AdSense (see below) We do not sell your PDF files. We do not claim ownership of your documents.

RashPDF and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to: • Remember your language preference • Keep the site working securely • Understand how visitors use our pages (analytics) • Deliver and measure advertisements You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may limit certain features but most PDF tools will still work in your browser.

RashPDF may display ads served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. • Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to RashPDF or other websites. • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings: https://www.google.com/settings/ads • You may opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting https://www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/ (EU). We use HTTPS (TLS) for connections to RashPDF. Server uploads are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please avoid uploading documents you are not comfortable sending over the internet when using server-based tools or share links. For sensitive work, prefer browser-only tools that process files locally on your device.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information we hold about you (for example, contact-form messages). To make a privacy request, contact us through the Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days. You can stop share links from being created simply by not using the Share feature. Expired share files are deleted automatically.

RashPDF may be used by people aged 8 and older. If you are under 8, please do not use this website. If you are between 8 and 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country), use RashPDF only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child's use of our tools and for any files the child uploads, including share links. Our site is supported by advertising. Where law requires parental consent before collecting personal information from children, we rely on parents/guardians to provide that consent by allowing supervised use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page will change when we do. Continued use of RashPDF after changes means you accept the updated policy.
